The Great Benefits of Grapeseed Oil

According to Debra Wilson, grapeseed oil is known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties (2018). Grapeseed oil also has very high amounts of omega chain fatty acids and vitamin E that has made the oil one of the best oils to use on the skin. If these few statements about grapeseed oil didn't win you over, here are some more benefits for you.
Acne was a huge concern of mine growing up, and I am pretty sure you experienced some acne too. Grapeseed oil has antimicrobial properties that can make your skin clearer help treat acne breakouts (Wilson, 2018).
2. More elasticity and softer skin
There is actual research that shows how grapeseed oil improved the skin's elasticity, which made it smooth and soft. Grapeseed oil contains vitamin E and vitamin C, which is two skin-loving ingredients.
3. Evens out your skin tone
Grapeseed oil, when used regularly, can help even out skin tone thanks to a powerful antioxidant called proanthocyanidin (Wilson, 2018).
4. Protection from the sun
We all need to be protected from the sun because the UV rays can severely damage our skin. Grapeseed oil can work as an SPF and help block those harmful rays.
As with everything that you initially try, be sure to test grapeseed oil or anything that contains the oil on a small section of your skin to make sure that you do not have an allergic reaction to it. Wilson recommends waiting at least 24 hours to see if you would have an allergic reaction where you placed the oil to make sure you can tolerate it (2018).
